Admissions Policy
For International and Domestic students
Students seeking admission into AIBI Higher Education programs will need to demonstrate the required academic requirements. The table below is indicated as a guide only; and all documents will be assessed based on our Admissions Policy.
Applicant | Educational and other qualifications, skills, prerequisite occupation(s) |

International applicants with recent secondary education (within the past two years) | Successful completion of a school leaving examination**. |
Domestic applicants with recent secondary education (within the past two years) | ATAR of 60 (minimum), or equivalent. |
Applicants with higher education study | Successful completion of at least one unit of study in an accredited higher education program. |
Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study | Successful completion of at least one unit of competency with a theoretical focus within a qualification at Diploma level (AQF 5) or higher. |
Applicants with work and life experience (finished secondary education more than two years ago) | A demonstrated ability to undertake study at the required level, due to relevant and appropriate work and life experience. This can be demonstrated through:
broadly relevant work experience; and/or
formal, informal or non-formal study completed or partially completed; and/or
written submission

Special considerations | Applicants will be considered for admission based on special considerations or disadvantage who can demonstrate ability to undertake study at the required level. |

Qualifications issued overseas deemed equivalent to accredited qualifications issued in Australia will suffice to meet admission criteria. Equivalency will be determined through the Country Education Profiles ttps://internationaleducation.gov.au/Services-And-Resources/services-for-organisations/Pages/Services-for-organisations.aspx.

Where you do not have your final results from your Year 12 studies, forecast results are accepted in most cases.
There may be specific subject requirements, depending on your intended degree program. For example, a minimum grade in mathematics and/or science.
Bonus points may be applied for key schools and for good results in relevant subjects.
